The 22nd Episode of the Signal Flow Podcast mixed by Carnage & Cluster!

We're still kicking off 2011 with some more cool mixes, and this time around we have dutch duo Carnage & Cluster! They've been releasing some very cool tunes recently on their new label Noisj.nl! So far they've released tracks from artists like The Relic, Mental Wreckage, Moleculez, DJ Freak, and themselves! I hope you enjoy this mix of some pounding industrial tracks!

Here's a little more about Carnage & Cluster:

Carnage & Cluster started dj-ing in 1999. Influenced by the Promo File series they started to discover down the more industrial / hardtechno side of hardcore. They have played at gigs all throughout Europe including Nature One, Heroes Of Hardcore, Hardcore Gladiators, Ground Zero, Industrial Shock and many more. From 2004 to 2006 Carnage managed Underground Society, which was changed to USR in 2007.

In 2005 Carnage compiled the Thunderdome CD of that year and the boys released their first tracks they produced together on vinyl. On USR Carnage & Cluster first discovered their "noisj" sound, which they continued on labels like the German Important Corestyle and the Israelian Dark Like Hell.

In 2010 they started their brand new fully digital label Noisj.nl

Here is a little bit about Matt Green:

Matt Green is a name synonymous to the Corrupt label. Strength and intensity are just a couple of words describing the waves that bleed from Matt Greens' live-sets.

Since 1998 Matt Green manages his own label, Corrupt Records. A name now closely linked to the many substyles of hardcore. Ranging from breakbeat (the true origin of breakcore) to speedcore, every Corrupt beat was treated with distortion and an overdose of energy. Next to the long list of Corrupt releases, Matt also had the chance to release several guest EPs on labels like Epileptik and Hong Kong Violence. By the dawn of 2008 Matt decided to make a change and bring Corrupt to an end. Filling the gap with Corrupt Redux - the official sequel to Corrupt exploring the slower tempo, but harsher sounds - Matt is ready for the next move!

A live act of hypnotizing beats and a blend of unique patterns, underground vitality is released. On stage N-Vitral is able to heavily interact with his audience. Breaking up and deflecting his music into basic elements, he takes both curious onlooker and respected fan along the path of musical disorder.

Influenced by Converter and Autechre, Stefan Busker developed a fresh sound in his own music. Dark atmosphere and a mid-tempo to the point of soundscaping were some of the key ingredients which set his tracks apart from the rest. There is only one N-Vitral and his music proves this, the tracks have an original feel but the titles themselves become a language of their own. N-Vitral's music has received astounding positive feedback from various DJ's and producers from all over the world.

Up next on this wonderful podcast I present to you Stormtrooper from Germany! He's a busy guy with releases on labels such as Deatchant, Industrial Strength, Rebelscum, Psychik Genocide, Crowbar, Important Corestyle, and many more....as well as constant touring and gigs throughout Europe!

Stormtrooper alias Peter Nitschke started Dj-ing 1997 in small Clubs in his Hometown Rosenheim. It didnt take long until everybody knew that his sound was too hard for most of the parties, so he started playing in towns like Munich and Salzburg, where more people liked the harder sound. In 2002 he founded his own small Label called SCUM Records, where he compiled CD-Compilations with Hardcore Acts from all over Germany, especially new talents, but also already known producers. Everything got bigger very quick, and in 2003 he got signed by Lenny Dees famous Label Industrial Strength Records, where he was part of the massive comeback of ISR with his first vinyl release. After productions for ISR other Labels like Speedcore (Germany), the well known Dutch Mokum Records and Deathchant (UK) followed. Stormtrooper played at many big events all over Europe like Mayday, Energy, Masters of Hardcore and Defqon 1.....

I'm happy to announce the next podcast by Deathmachine from London! He's had some great releases on labels such as Corrupt, Rebelscum, Deathchant, Pacemaker, Industrial Movement, Sadistic, and many more! He's prepared a great mix for us and I hope you enjoy it!

Here is a little bit about him:

Deathmachine's love for hard dark music started way back in the early 90's where his imagination was captured by the then relatively young hardcore scene. He attended many of the big UK raves over the following years and became addicted to the new sound that had arrived.

To further connect with the music, he started DJing in 1998 and over the following years began carving a unique sound for himself. Always dance floor oriented, but with an experimental edge, his sets earned him bookings from all major promoters across the UK.

A few years later and now a respected name on the UK DJ circuit, he took it to the next level. In 2001, he began producing, aiming to capture energy and rawness along with the continuing dark vibe. Since then, he has released on some of the worlds most respected industrial hardcore labels such as Deathchant, Rebelscum and Pacemaker.

Now at the 13th episode of the Signal Flow podcast I have Maurice (The Relic) and I'm happy to have him on board as I'm a fan of his productions.....expect some slow dark industrial madness in this set! Here's a little about him:

The Relic released his first e.p. on FIX records 17. His second release was a battle with Zanthrax on Underground Society Records 08. At the end of 2006 he became main producer for the SYMP.TOM label, a sub-label of Neophyte records. Together with Mental Wreckage he set up a project called: Dual Mechanism. With this new project they mainly focus on raw, mechanical sounding tracks.
